  1. Hi all here!

I wanted to show a fellow virtual pilot how to move an Orbx Library to another harddrive. I followed this steps written by Nick:

    Coming from

    C:\User\Username\Documents\Orbx Library

    I've established a new folder

    D:\Orbx Library\MSFS

and moved the content of the old library into in the new one just as it was stated above. And I've "told" Orbx Central the new location via it's respective settings entry.

Now I wonder that all the red coloured "SymLinks" are still in the Community folder but Orbx Central is showing only dark circles left of the installed sceneries. Frist I was afraid that the sceneries are gone but I've tested some: There are still there in MSFS. And I cannot "check files" anymore with Orbx Central. All sceneries are offered to me as to be installed aka not installed, but they are obvious.

This is a kind of confusing to me - is that the correct behavior or went something wrong while changing the library place?

Thanks lot for any ideas or hints - have all a good time!

I just installed EGBM to an outside Library on the same drive as MSFS called "Orbx Scenery".  EGBM shows ok.  Maybe try creating a Library in somewhere other than C:\User\Username\Documents and see it that works.

    Hi Rob!

I will monitor that as all other installation are working as they should. I guess there was something wrong with the installtion process.

  3. Hello all here!

I've just installed EGBM Tatenhill in the Orbx Library at C:\User\Username\Documents. But EGBM didn't show up after the next start of MSFS. The symlink though was existend in the Community folder.

I've deinstalled and reinstalled EGBM in the Community folder of MSFS: Now it's there.

    Just to let you know...

    Cheers!

  4. Hi Nick!

All fine here in the German Outback but winter is coming with low temperatures and rain - I hate that 😉

I've just tried it again: When chosen to be installed in the "Main Library" it is there but it is not availalbe as a "symlink" in the community folder. When chosen to be installed in the MSFS community folder I get the folder

    bmwworldamsim-ksan-sandiego

but only with one (!) file inside:

    version_bmworldamsim-ksan-msfs.txt

    Cheers!

  5. Hi Nick!

    How are you?

I can confirm that the problem hasn't been solved until right now aka October 11th, 2023 11:45 GMT.

Both options for the installation are still ending in the bespoke ...\Commmunity folder - with three "m".

Hope you will find a solution.

    Have a good day!

  6. Hello everyone here!

Yesterday I've taken some screenshots at Orbx' Newcastle (EGNT) with current update status in MSFS. What I've missed are both G/P antennas for the ILS' of runways 07 and 25.

I've seen a similar thing near the 07 standing close to taxiway B. To far away to be a "real" G/P antenna for this runway. At runway 25 there is none.

Can you plaase check this and provide an update if nessessary?

Thanks so muich in Advance - take care!

    Bert

PS: The positions of both antennas are depiced on the official NATS-PDF...
