2nd opinion.
1. msfs is running just fine on my setup.
2. monitor is set at 30hz.
3. taa is on and so is vsync
It is smooth
I decided I would give the frame gen a try anyway:
1. it works.
2. gets me fps from 90 to 145
BUT
1. panning in the cockpit will produce jaggies even though vsync is on in the C.panel.
2. panning iin outside view will also produce hesitations.
3. V. sync does not seem to work too well.
4. you will get CTD<s if you modified your settings with a performance monitor (I use nvidia)
My conclusion:
For me MSFS in DX11 with TAA and monitor/30hz and vsync on is better than the extra fps. Smoothness is the word here.
Just my 2 cents,
Cheers and a Happy New Year to all

A clean installation is preferred.
Have a look at the update notes.
To me this is an important update.
Bravo to the Orbx team.
P3Dv54 is a very realiable and entertaining flight simulator.

It is actually more than just a line.
If you approach the line with a chopper, you will notice that it is actually a set of power lines: with 3 lines on each side.
Not sure that helps, but this is what I found out with the 429

Brilliant fix. Confirmed here also on 11.35

I had the same problem but found another fix: recompiled the PAJN_ADEP2_TRB.bgl with the P3Dv3.4 SDK.
One question:
Why is turning off an elev. adjustment bgl cause P3Dv3.4 to crash?

I will not comment about Orbx management of this situation.
But I will say this: I am personally using and enjoying 6.1.19 with most Orbx products.
Here what I found did not work too well with P3D:
1. the trees: although they appear to work, in winter they somehow become transparent. It is particularly evident night time you will not see the trees. Day time they will appear as transparent.
2. the 3d lights: they appear with black square shadows around them. That is an easy fix: use the P3D lights.
I am stil testing,
Cheers
