From your screenshots, I don't see any elevation issues, but rather, Autogen showing up in the water.

 

This is, in fact, an issue related to Orbx Vector. Open your Orbx Vector Configuration Tool and deactivate "Frozen Surface" In the "Water Features" section. Reload the sim and you shouldn't see the conflicting autogen anymore.

Hi Guys,

 

Earlier today, I purchased CYTZ Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport for P3D v4.5. Unfortunately I am experiencing elevation problems (see attached file). Can somebody please help me resolve this issue? 

 

I have tried the Global Vector configuration tool but CYTZ is not one of the listed airports. I have also looked in my Scenery\World\Scenery folder and CYTZ is listed there either. I have

tried verifying the files for CYTZ without any success.

The 3 airports are not in my FSimStudios directory. The only one that is in there is CYYC.

 

When you suggest that I should delete my three scenery library entries, do you mean the 3 entries in my scenery.cfg?

Hi guys,

This is a problem I have not come across before.

 

I have installed 3 Orbx Canadian airports CYVR, CYLW and CYEG direct to my Prepar3d v4 directory (not my Library) using Orbx Central. When I go to My Computer and search for the relevent directories that should have been created by Orbx Central, they are not there. When I load P3D it comes up with error boxes saying it can't find the relevent scenery areas for these airports. I have tried uninstalling these airports and reinstalling them again. I have also verified the files for these airports.

 

When I look at my Scenery.cfg file after trying to load these airports in P3D, the Active=True has changed to Active=False.

 

Can somebody please help me with this problem?

Caleb1 and Scott, thanks for your prompt responses.

 

Nick, you never cease to amaze me with your problem solving.

When verifying files, I forgot to verfy the Orbx Libraries files. This was all it took to resolve my problems.

Hi guys,

 

I have a problem with black textures in Prepar35 v4.5.14.34698. I have already tried deleting the shaders folder, verifying the files in all of the Orbx packages including Global Base, Open LC and Global Vector. I have also verified the files in all of my Orbx regions e.g. England, Norway, Scotland and Wales all without success.

 

I also have TrueEarth Great Britain Central, South and North. I do not have the same black textures when running TrueEarth.

 

Has anybody got any idea what might be causing this problem?
