I installed the SCA package and now the airport looks fine. I guess I need to read the fine print before I buy the next time.

Hi Bill,
This airport is supposed to be an addition to the SCA regional scenery. Do you have that installed?
Before my time as a tester and just had a quick look in P3Dv4 but I suspect that might be the issue.
All the best,
John
No, I don't. Didn't know it was required. But I never installed it because I don't want SCA interfering with my other southern calf airports.

The easiest way to get around the permissions problem is to create a new folder alongside the Community folder, called anything you like, I have mine as Hangar Temp, and you can move contents back and forth from the Community folder without any of the permissions issues that you face trying to move out of the MSFS folder.
Thanks I'll give it a try tonight.

Hello,
if you installed directly into the community folder, you can just temporarily remove the folders
from that and restart the simulator.
If you used an Orbx Central Library, then you can do the same with the links.
Thanks for the advice. I'll try using the Orbx library links to disable or move the scenery. I tried moving scenery from the community folder. For some reason I keep getting message says that I cannot remove or copy to different location. I can only delete folders from community folder. Maybe it's some windows permission thing I need to turn off.

Hello,
you could quickly disable all your Aussy scenery and airports and see if the aircraft still appear?
Okay. I wasn't aware you can disable scenery one by one in FS 2020. Is there a scenery library? If so where is it or how can I access it?

I have several of your Aussy scenery and airports installed. Do any of them install Qantas AI Airbus 320's and flight plans? I have Qantas Airbuses at all my US airports and some of them are blank or generic white. If so how do which scenery have them and how do I remove them? And why were they installed without approval? Any help is much appreciated.

Do you guys still offer the kmz files for all your scenery locations? They were very helpful when trying to see the locations coverage when flight planning using google earth.
Thanks for any information

I own the south Island scenery and was wondering if that also included the Queensland airport? Because I see that there's one being sold separately. If so will the 2 work together?

Hello,
PAKT was a special design to allow the slopes.
The two parking spaces worked in FSX but for a reason that was never found, did not work in P3D v2 or v3.
In P3D v4 and v5, once again, they work.
However, Pacific Fjords must be installed.
Okay thanks for clearing info up. I have Pacific Fjords installed, I just noticed looking at PAKT AP file. It show parking but at the airport. But in the sim there's only runway start points.
Thanks again for your help

Hello,
the answer to all your questions is yes.
The up to date versions are 1.15 for PAJN and 1.61 for SAK
Thank you Sir
I reloaded both sceneries and all looks good. Cool thanks. quick question was PAKT designed not to have parking positions intently?

Hello,
PAJN requires SAK.
Please try verify files for both products.
If that does not work, please try reinstalling, SAK first and then PAJN.
Thanks.
Okay I will, but should I uninstall both first first then reinstall. Or just re install on top of installed sceneries. Also should I try gettng the most recent download versions of sceneries. I believe the versions I have are dated 2010.
Thanks again

Thanks, when you select PAJN, do you see options to start at 1 and 2?
No all I see is the parking positions and water parking.

Good news. I've also had this problem with the 466.11s and I'm glad to see it's been fixed. Now if I could just get back the three days I spent tying to figure it out on my own............
I'm using the latest Nvidia driver and have not had no start up issues yet. But I always do a clean install of video drivers.

Hello,
do you have Orbx Pacific Fjords?
Thanks for the reply back.
Yes I do.

Hello,
do you mean PAKT?
If so, it required Orbx Pacific Fjords before it will work as intended.
If you do mean PAJN, that does indeed require SAK but it does not have a sloping runway.
Okay then There's a problem with the PAJN airport elevation because my plane is beneath the ground at every position. Is there something I can do to fix this? If I remember there are no parking positions a PAKT, I could only start at either runway end.
-
I search the forum for solution to the aircraft sitting in hole at PAJN airport. I got a support anwser saying to start at runway end then go to gate to be on top of ground instead of below it. I tried at runway end my plane was under ground and I then moved to anoter location still under ground. I have the FTX Southern Alaska install, would that cause elevation issues. I know its a sloped run way but I have other sceneries installed and I don't sit inside hole. Is there a solution to fix this? If not then I rather remove the PAJN airport and go back to default. Even though I'd be upset about it.

Are there assigned parking spots at this airport? My AI are parked all over the AP and a few at correct assigned gates? Is it possible to edit the AFX file to fix parking?
