Just a request. 2 Greenland airports are in Global Freeware Airports. Could they be added to the list.
BGBW Narsarsuaq is new with the latest pack.
BGGH Nuuk was done by Neil a long time ago.
Thanks
Larry
Added and thanks.

Sorry here too Gerard. You probably caught me at one of my (frequent) bad moments. 0V2(KANK) it is and thus it shall remain. If that's the worst we ever do, we're doing OK I think.
-
OK, when you guys decide which designator is correct let me know and I'll make ONE MORE CHANGE. I'm not looking it up, I'm not tracking it down. Let me know.

Good evening, does anyone know where I can see the airports added? no pdf available?
The release announcement that a new list of updated freeware airports contains a list of the newest additions. When I update the spreadsheets I highlight the release date (e.g. April 2019 release) until a newer update occurs.

I regularly update my AEC profile as indicated in this list and noticed a typo :
the airport OV2 in the spreadsheet should be read 0V2 (not the letter "O" but the numeral "0" - zero.)
My very small contribution
Gérard
Thanks Gerard. Corrected.

Thanks, corrected as we speak.

D/L'ed the airport packs just now and installed without incident. Seems all OK now.
-
The freeware airport lists (USA & Canada etc) have been updated thru and including April 2019 release. Have fun, fly happy.
-
Right now I can't comment other than to say I seem to have fallen behind on updates to the listings. Sorry

Please note, I have been asked about the possibility of deleting or otherwise noting if a specific freeware airport has been superseded by an airport included in a payware region (think Northern and Southern California). The short answer here is that if you own a specific payware region in which a freeware airport was once located, then that freeware airport should be considered as superseded by the payware region version.
Thanks to all who use my lists as references for flying destinations or take off points.

Hi Woodchick!
Thank you so much for providing these lists! They are most valuable in my mapping. It's unfortunate that FTX has stopped providing users with the list like they had been doing.
Would it be possible in future updates to somewhere in your post and the spreadsheets themselves the date of your updated file and perhaps the date of the udpated FTX update? Sometimes I don't know if your post (at the top of the thread with the links) represents the most current FTX update information.
Also, if it's not too difficult, are you able to leave in the airports that FTX removes from the Freeware package simply noting their removal? This just helps us keep track of additions and deletions.
Thank you for your time and effort!
Thanks for the feedback. I'm not completely sure I understand what you are asking about "leaving in the airports FTX....noting their removal". The freeware airports lists do note the date of each airports' updating over in the comments section. PM me if you would like to discuss further.
I will take a look at the spreadsheets and see if I can easily insert a modification date but when Orbx announces new additions to the list the spreadsheets are updated with in a week or less.
Hope this helps.

Somewhere along the way I began thinking that as long as you D/L'ed the Orbx libraries you could use them without Global Base. It's been a long time since I first began using them so I may be 100% wrong. Nick Cooper?
-
If I am reading you correctly, the EU and USA, Canada etc packs no longer have to be D/L' ed separately but the listings posted by myself and Lysander can remain as separate postings.
-
My series of Orbx Freeware airport listings have been updated to include the August release. Please note, in the future I will continue to list only those airports in the USA, Canada, and South America.

Looking good Lysander. Might I suggest you make a separate posting for your list? That way the powers that be might be interested in making a pinned "helpful hint" as they did with my USA/Canada listings. Thanks for joining in.
-
To the best of my knowledge there is not. Sorry
-
I'm not completely sure you have to delete them at all. If the new payware scenery installs higher up in the add-on scenery I think it will automatically overwrite the freeware. Hopefully someone who actually knows what they are talking about will reply.
-
Orbx ADMIN; I have added a new post including the April updates. You may delete this post. Thank you.
-
No, I have no real way of knowing which ones have been replaced and have no interest in tracking each one.
-
We all have the entire cumulative airport packs. It is my understanding that they would simply be lower in the order of things in the add-on scenery. Can you not, therefore, simply move the bgl for your airport higher? At this point you're going to have to "seek professional help". I've exhausted the entire store of my flight sim tinkering knowledge. All both things
-
The KPIL I'm looking at (Port Isabel Texas) is not included in the freeware packs. It is not part of the So/Cal payware. My list includes all freeware packs issued. As far as I can tell, it has never been part of any freeware pack.
