I suppose I'll ask, can you share your graphics settings?  I can't imagine it's related to terrain LOD, but maybe.

Still haven't been able to get a hold of anyone at BMWorld or AMSIM.

    Hey Capn'....

I also have the KCOS add-on and wanted to know if you have this issue?  The FedEx truck west of Gates 3 & 5 appears to be missing it's tire textures - LoL

Sorry to hijack this thread but maybe it will get some visibility. I'll see if I have the elevation issue BTW.

  3. Attempted to make my own flatten file to no avail, but here is roughly where this drop off runs from:

Additionally, it appears the Gate 13 ground marking does not coincide with the physical Gate 12 jetway (this is indeed Gate 12 in reality).

Any ideas or help would be appreciated, thank you.  I attempted submitting another Contact Us form from the Orbx Central link, but no reply.

I just installed KCOS and taxied around  the gates 9-12, trying to cover the area you mentioned.  I can't find a dip/bump anywhere.  The jetway behind your aircraft is Gate 11?

Yes, it runs east-west and intersects gate 11 as well.

  5. Managed to finally get confirmation a support request form was submitted, but it has been over 2 weeks and I haven't seen a response.  By chance, is there any other way to contact these developers?

(Also found some taxiway lights in the middle of runway 17L that I'd like to report.)

    Thanks.

  6. For what it's worth, if anyone from AMSIM/BMWorld is out there:

    1) There seems to be a rather large bump in the ground, running approximately west to east across the terminal near gates 11 and 12.  If I park at gate 11 or 12, the nose of my aircraft is pointing toward the ground significantly.  No other custom scenery installed in the proximity of COS.

    2) The jetway logos appear to be wrong; in reality it is not the COS airport logo but some generic mountain outlines (unfortunately it doesn't look like I can upload a screenshot here)

    3) The east terminal jetways are too high; in reality they are low to the ground and slope upward, almost like RJ gates.

I can try to link some screenshots or send some photos if it helps.

I'm thankful to finally see a quality KCOS, thank you.  I've been waiting for this airport to be modeled in the simulator for many, many years.

  7. Hello,

I'm trying to get in touch with support for the new AMSIM/BMWORLD KCOS product.  I have 1 bug and 2 improvement (scenery inaccuracy) recommendations.  The link to support via Orbx Central takes me to the AMSIM Contact Us page but the form seems to hang and timeout/page not found whenever I try to submit something.

Does anyone, by chance, have another way of contacting this developer?

    Thank you very much.

  8. KCOS is probably not going to happen because of 1) two decent freeware sceneries already exist, 2) size of airport, and 3) I know someone who is working on a very nice payware version, albeit it won't be released for several months yet.

Do you have links to the decent freeware sceneries (I've gone through several and subsequently removed them) and/or the payware version?

  9. Thanks for continuing to publish freeware airports and soliciting requests!

    I'd like to request:

Above all else, KMSN - Madison Dane County Regional - Truax Field

and KCOS - Colorado Springs Municipal

KAFF - United States Air Force Academy Airfield

    KBDU - Boulder Municipal Airport

KSBA - Santa Barbara Municipal (I'll second it)

KSTP - St. Paul Downtown Airport

    KFCM - Flying Cloud Airport

KTVF - Thief River Falls Regional Airport

KFAR - Hector International Airport (I'll second it)

KEYW - Key West International (I know payware options exist but would love to see Orbx's rendition)
