I made two heli flights over Auckland City, one with Orbx Landmarks on and another off. I saw several spikes and malformed structures and the harbor bridge looked strange with the Landmarks on, thus I am afraid they don't play well together and I will uninstall it for now.

Anyone to confirm this? If so, does Orbx have any plans to work on a compatible version?

    Kind regards, Michael

Yeah, that's what I gathered reading around. Also around NZAA(payware one) I think there's some issues. Think I'm going to hold off on installing the update till hopefully things get ironed out a bit. Holger mentioned in another  thread they are working on making it compatible.

I'm playing Devil's advocate here, but as a long time and devoted Orbx product purchaser (FSX, P3D, Xplane and MSFS) I'm a bit disappointed at the slow roll out of Aussie scenery for MSFS, we are sadly lacking YMML Melbourne, YBCG Goldcoast, YBCS Cairns, YBAS Alice Springs, YBRM Broome, YPMQ Port Macquarie - all previous Orbx products. We really need YPDN Darwin, YBMA Mount Isa, YPKG Kalgoorlie and YBTL Townsville to mention a few.

Can we expect these airports for consideration.

  3. Hi,

Just noticed this off the coast from Adelaide appearing on the horizon. It's also visible when on the ground at YPAD. Have the Adelaide bundle but not related as it's still there when both are uninstalled. Any ideas what it may be?.

It eventually disappears if I go far enough off the coastpic2.thumb.jpg.f4c6f8ec4530804f9b6b0b168a941ba0.jpg

You don't usually have to delete anything, just load the new scenery, follow the isntructions and away you go. There are ocassionally issues  (and Sydney was one) but Orbx sort them out pretty quickly, third party sometimes not so quick but all you need to do is jump in and you will soon learn how to do this stuff.  Start with one install and you will see it is quite pain free (mostly :-))

Any issues, as I say there is lots of help.

Ok cool. Will give it a go.

    Thanks once again

Orbx is pretty bullet proof, just have to decide of where you want to save the stuff to, if in doubt go with default.

If you get stuck, which I doubt there will be plenty of folks on here to give assistance.

Thank you Brian. Anything I need to do to avoid any conflicts in the way scenery displays?. I think the default YSSY needs to be deleted?
