I made two heli flights over Auckland City, one with Orbx Landmarks on and another off. I saw several spikes and malformed structures and the harbor bridge looked strange with the Landmarks on, thus I am afraid they don't play well together and I will uninstall it for now.
Anyone to confirm this? If so, does Orbx have any plans to work on a compatible version?
Kind regards, Michael
Yeah, that's what I gathered reading around. Also around NZAA(payware one) I think there's some issues. Think I'm going to hold off on installing the update till hopefully things get ironed out a bit. Holger mentioned in another thread they are working on making it compatible.

Is there any suggestion on the Orbx Auckland Landmarks? Is it suggested to uninstall them or keep them?
Thanks and kind regards, Michael
Have you seen any issues with it?

I'm playing Devil's advocate here, but as a long time and devoted Orbx product purchaser (FSX, P3D, Xplane and MSFS) I'm a bit disappointed at the slow roll out of Aussie scenery for MSFS, we are sadly lacking YMML Melbourne, YBCG Goldcoast, YBCS Cairns, YBAS Alice Springs, YBRM Broome, YPMQ Port Macquarie - all previous Orbx products. We really need YPDN Darwin, YBMA Mount Isa, YPKG Kalgoorlie and YBTL Townsville to mention a few.
Can we expect these airports for consideration.
Steve
NZA Simulations ,one of Orbx partners has done YPKG and its free

Hello,
as far as I can tell, with all of the simulator-injected aircraft switched off, there are two.
One is in a shed and the other parked on what looks like a military apron.
Thank you Nick

How many static aircrafts are there and where are they located? Not a fan of static aircrafts , especially if they occupy gates at the terminal.

Hi John
That's odd, cause in the video on the product page, it looking all normal, and I see traffic going across. Bit confused as to what has changed since.

You don't usually have to delete anything, just load the new scenery, follow the isntructions and away you go. There are ocassionally issues (and Sydney was one) but Orbx sort them out pretty quickly, third party sometimes not so quick but all you need to do is jump in and you will soon learn how to do this stuff. Start with one install and you will see it is quite pain free (mostly :-))
Any issues, as I say there is lots of help.
Brian
Ok cool. Will give it a go.
Thanks once again

Orbx is pretty bullet proof, just have to decide of where you want to save the stuff to, if in doubt go with default.
If you get stuck, which I doubt there will be plenty of folks on here to give assistance.
Brian
Thank you Brian. Anything I need to do to avoid any conflicts in the way scenery displays?. I think the default YSSY needs to be deleted?

Hi,
Have only had msfs for a few weeks now only with default stuff and have decided now to add some add ons to it. Was looking to get the Sydney airport and city bundle through Orbx Direct.
Is there anything I should be aware of, that needs doing to ensure a smooth install?
Melbourne is incoming!
