    Hi There,

YMML aka Tullamarine / Melbourne main airport is currently in development. There are plans in place to hopefully preview screenshots in the coming months.

Keep an eye out on our "Release Announcements" section of the forum and social media platforms to stay up to date when this drops!

thank you Angelo. That's good news. Can't wait for regular updates and the odd screenshots!

  2. I'm with you Tim.  A view of FR24 also confirms the 'yellow on black' bay numbers on the taxiway or at the start of the lead-ins, which are really needed to highlight the turns into the bays.  I love the additional work around the airport with buildings, a/c in hangars etc and sometimes do a drone walk around.  BUT I'm there to fly and taxi into bays, park and get out again and these are important as you say.  Good pick-up too re the numbering.  Surely an easy fix and I'm waiting for such detail before purchasing....

    also agree----excellent scenery addition though.

  3. me too.  I'm itching to know what Orbx have in 2023 line-up.  All I read is pretty old news now. It IS February already, MSFS keeps bringing out updates, aircraft, systems changes etc...but a top scenery producer/distributor is still to publish their forecast for the year.  Hopefully v soon.

  4. Hi Anna

First - Happy New Year for Sunday - I hope your Christmas has been good too!

Just wondering if there is any chance of some update with YMML?  This is a major airport, sadly lacking in Aus.  You mentioned it was destined for 2022 but there's no apparent news on it.

I haven't seen any mention of it coming in to testing so I think the short answer is no.  Sorry.

    Hi

any chance of an estimated time for YMML?  Obviously next year, but Jun/Julish??? earlier/later?

with YSCB about to release, MEL is so important, followed by OOL, CNS, PER, LST, ABX...........

Yeah I have. It's a really great scenery on all fronts. Performance and visuals. I agree too, jetway models are great but they're just the default type still.

well they're done very well, and the GSX profile they've just put up works well too.  The only hassle I have is maybe with FSLTL or GSX - not sure which, where a/c park incorrectly - JQ in VA bays and Va in QF bays etc......not sure where the problem lies but it's annoying.....

Personally I don't think GSX will have a solution anyway until they implement more intricate custom jetways. As far as I am aware they are constrained by the default animation capabilities.

But I can't find any reason why the floating taxiway signage has not been fixed yet. Or the 1-2m high random bumps between the taxiways.

just for interest, have you got YPAD by Impulse?  Now there's a set of jetways way beyond anything else I've seen....

Maybe because it's not a simple matter like typing a few lines of code and hitting DONE.  I imagine the dev has to try and work out why a change in MSFS has caused the otherwise working scenery to be broken, and then figure out a fix that won't break other things, then have the fix tested, then arrange for an update to be pushed out.

    Hi John

So it was originally better than we see now?  That's good to know as I really didn't think Orbx could have developed it as is.  Hopefully, then (the) developer will fix and there will be an update sooner rather than later.

  9. Can I join in here.  The jetways are seemingly default ones and I get the same result as a picture above in this thread.  It appears that it is not possible to replace these jetways in GSX, unless someone has a way.  These look terrbile piles of concrete and bear no resemblance to the real thing.  I just bought YBBN a couple of days ago and it looks well below average.  Will the jetways (among other things) be fixed? Has someone got a way to replace them with GSX ones? And agree...it needs a big overhaul to bring it up to Orbx quality
