KGEG Elevation Problem

Hello,

All of a sudden I appear to have elevation issues at KGEG.  I'm not sure what is causing this as it appears as there is a conflict between default FTX terrain and PNW.

  • I have the latest Object Libraries Installed with FTX Central 2
  • All regions and airports are up-to-date per FTX Central 2
  • I tried re-ordering my FSX scenery library
  • I tried applying FSX and reapplying North America
  • I have no new add-on sceneries except KSEA by T2G
  • I have the latest T2G KSEA and elevation patch
  • Spot checked other airports in the PNW region (KBLI, KALW, KPDX, KEAT) - no elevation issues

Any thoughts?

Hi there,

looks like you don't have Northern Rockies active in your scenery library menu, which is the FTX region that contains KGEG (not PNW!). If that's the case then our airport elevation adjustment file will remain active while the default airport files are displayed leading to an elevation mismatch.

You state that you cycled FTX Central to North America. Did that not re-activate all the FTX entries?

Cheers, Holger

That did it!  Orbx's support is excellent; thank you so much!

It did re-activate all the FTX entries, however, I turned them all off manually (from the scenery library) to cut down on VAS useage.  This is something new I recently started doing...that explains the "all of a sudden" issue I'm having with KGEG.
