Jack Sawyer
I am looking to buy some scenery today. So I was interested in the Pacific Fjords and Southern Alaska. But in the description of Pacific Fjords I find this, "Pacific Fjords joins the gap between FTX Pacific Northwest and Tongass Fjords X" So two questions: 1. What is Tongass Fjords X? 2. Which is more southern, Southern Alaska or Pacific Fjords. May be a stupid question as one has "southern" in it but I just don't know. Thanks. Please reply soon as my money is ready. wulfbindewald
Tongass Fjords X from FSADDON (not Orbx) fills the gap between "Pacific Ffords" in the south and "Southern Alaska" above Tongass Fjords. Here a map from all Orbx regions in North America which has been recently presented from one ORBX dev. Jack Sawyer
Thank you, so is this add-on as good of a quality as Orbx?

wulfbindewald
Yes, the Tongass Fjords scenery fits seemingly between both Orbx sceneries and the scenery is made in a similar quality.
fltsimguy
Thank you, so is this add-on as good of a quality as Orbx? The scenery was designed by the same author, Holger Sandmann and some others. The textures and other work is perfectly aligned with Orbx because Holger did the work for Orbx in the neighbouring regions.
Jack Sawyer
Brilliant! Great. Presently I am downloading Sedona and Pacific Fjords. Soon to get Northern Alaska. Now, can someone send me a link where I can buy Tongass Fjords? Thanks. Jack

dominique
Th best piece of advice I can give you is to go the the homepage of both products, download the kmz file and open them in Google Earth. It will give you the coverage and all the airports., landmarks etc . Two different regions to enjoy. https://www.fullterrain.com/product/pfj https://www.fullterrain.com/product/sak
wulfbindewald
There is a usefull note from Holger Sandmann with respect to the compatibilty between Tongass Fjords and Pacific Fjords (scenery priorisation in the scenery lib): http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/25863-pacific-fjords-pfj-compatibility-pointers-master-list/
