Bentree
Hi, Over the years I purchased ALL ORBX scenery there is (none excluded). I give you only one ordernumber (to much to give them all) Recently i switched over from FSX to P3Dv2.4. All the FTX NA addon airports seems to be installed fine. I installed FTX UK and after that installed all the FTX EU EG** scenery's Only two of them show up in the scenery library, not the others. When i try to add the rest by manually "add scenery entry" in the scenery library some of them seem to not have a scenery subdirectory (they all have the Texture sub directory though). I installed the EU EG** scenery's again, but no show. After i added manually in the scenery library, on startup P3D say's that this and that scenery entry is not found. Also at another startup all my manually added scenery entries are suddenly gone. Next to this problem i have a problem with open LC Europe scenery layers. They are sitting on top of all the other scenery (so also on top of the ORBX addon airports). Running the Open_LC scenery configurator corrects this, but after running the FTX central it is back on top again. So major problems here and i hope you can help. Yes, i installed the latest ORBX libs for P3D and yes i have enough disk space. Regards, Ben Ordernumber: FSS0295865
Museumkeeper
Hi Ben Even though you have all the Orbx products and have already used them in FSX might I suggest that you read this link. http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=18001 It will certainly help you to solve some of your problems. Bentree
Hi Ian, Thanks for your quick reply. I am familiar with the file you attached. I solved one problem though, just now.... It seems that i downloaded the 1.15 file of the EU EG** scenery, but that is only the patch. I had to download and install first the 1.10 file. In the links here: https://www.fullterrain.com/support#Orbxlibsthey look like you download the complete file. But actually it is only the update. I am downloading all the original installers now, run them and then the latest "patch". I keep having problems with the Open_LC_Europe entries though...... Kind regards, Ben
Museumkeeper
Ben OpenLC entries should be below all other Orbx entries in the scenery configuration file except Vector entries Kind regards Ian
Bentree
Hi Ian, O.k., but FTX central sets the entry's back on top every time i use it. Do you know how to solve that? regards, Ben
Museumkeeper
Hi Ben Here is the correct method for your scenery to appear in the FTX Scenery Library Insertion Point List. Launch FTX Central and click Tools/Scenery Library Configuration/FTX Scenery Library Insertion Points and a list appears. The correct order is as follows from the top: Non Orbx Scenery and Airports FTX mesh products, libraries and various other FTX files FTX Airports FTX Regions Orbx openLC files Your basic FlightSim files starting with Addon scenery Four Orbx Vector Files Base files Orbx Vector AEC Default scenery Default terrain. It is important that openLC files are all below the other Orbx files. Orbx Vector files will find their own place on the list and are well down below all others including openLC split into four files together and one near the bottom. Here is a guide to openLC: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=19835 Hope these comments help Kind regards Ian
Bentree
Hello Ian, With your help my problems are over. OpenLC files are right where they should be (and stay there now) and so is the rest. I think that i had to redo the process with the insertionpoint tool and set "Addon Scenery" as the insertion point (again, wich i already did in the past). This is what i did not do before during this period of trouble because the insertion point was already set to that. Now, after i moved de OpenLC files to where they belong to be and saved the insertion point again everything is o.k. Thanks for your effort, i really appreciate that. Kind regards, Ben
