tortugas
Hello, I am currently running ORBX scenery on P3D installation. Since I am unable to run all of my purchases on P3D I want to install FSX as well. What do I do with Products like FTX Global, Vector and regions? I also have 120GB of mesh from Pilots. Do I install them all again in a separate folder, or can the installed products somehow be linked to FSX? I would really appreciate some guidance on how to do this. Thanks, Espen
Guest
Hi, the safest solution is to do both installations separately without any migration tool. That means also to install twice addons. On my rig, I have 1 ssd for W7, 1ssd for P3d2.1 and 1TB HDD for FSX. As P3D2 has less ORBX sceneries compatibles, 120GB is still enough.
Jack the Swede in Spain
Just install FSX, no problems. As for ORBX products you have to reinstall them in FSX. The Pilots mesh products you can add to the FSX scenery library list and just point to the location where you allready have them. I have done that without problems. VonClout
If you're re-installing FSX it's worth looking at Steve's DX10 fixer too, Simon
