THibben
Could someone please tell me how to install the .kml & kmz files into google earth. Also where are they located? I have done it before but can't remember. Thanks, Tom Hibben
NoLonger
You don't install them into Google Earth: you open them with Google Earth. They are located in the Orbx documents folder within the sim's folder. And btw you can also copy the link for each kmz from the product's internet page and copy it into maps.google.com so you don't have to install Google Earth! Holger Sandmann
Hi Tom, the kmz files can be either downloaded from the individual region product pages, e.g. http://www.fullterrain.com/product_nanca.html , or accessed in the {FSX}\ORBX\User Documents folder. If you already have Google Earth installed you just need to double-click on a .kmz or .kml file and Windows will start GE and load the file automatically. Alternatively, if you don't use GE and only want a quick view of the map you can use this approach with Google Maps: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/35120-ftx-north-america-pnw-pfj-nrm-crm-kmz-map-files/?p=303056 Cheers, Holger
