First...congrats on having all of Australia done. I have no clue as to where I am flying so I found a guide on the net with the airports of Australia. Started out at YAMK...Andamooka....and found Leigh Creek once in the air and set the ADF and headed for it and enjoyed the scenery immensly...salt flats and all. I have refuled at Leigh Creek and will head out for some other spot on my next flight. During my rest I am reading up on both locations and found the history of both to be very good reading. Does Leigh Creek really have a 9 hole golf course there? Now this is a way to spend a cold rainy week....flying and learning. Once you guys make it to the states you know you are probably going to own the scenery market here...at least imho. Good job.

Just curious if you could share the link you found? Is it the same link that gives the information about the place's you've been as described. Thanks...Robin

I am still looking for something better but I was in a hurry to get started. I landed at YCUN needing fuel....nice runway but no fuel sation.....LOL. I am looking for something that will tell me more about the airports themselves. Here is the link.

That looks great...as all of the work being done with this scenery. FTX and OZx is just changing every thing for me in FSX. Heck it caused me to get a new i7 920 that I was not planning on buying until the next version of the sim came out. I don't understand why someone has not done somethign similar for the US already....I tried 3 tiles of the MegaScenery Earth and it is now off of my PC. The tiles I bought were not hi res at all and yet that was supposed to be "The greatest thing since the sim it's self". If that is the answer what was the question??LOL While I would enjoy flying around my home country with some great scenery I will just have to wait....but with FTX I am not only enjoying the sim much more but learning a lot about a country that I may not have learned had it not been for FTX. Two birds with one stone.
