VH-KDK Posted November 21, 2013 Share Posted November 21, 2013 Time to climb aboard a Virgin Blue EMB 190 for the flight from Mildura to Melbourne. 1. Mildura Airport is only just visible above the 190. 2. Climbing over Red Cliffs with the Murray River which we will follow for a while. 3. Robinvale with Euston just above the plane. 4. 5. The Wakool River joins the Murray at Wakool Junction. 6. The beautiful Virgin Blue colours are quickly vanishing in favour of, I my opinion, the less exciting Virgin Australia scheme. 7. Leaving the Murray at Kerang. 8. Getting closer to Melbourne as the clouds are building. 9. Descending towards Tullamarine. 10. The ridiculous bit. Passing a Dash8. We have just been passed by a 747 who has overshot and a 727 is just ahead of us! 11. Over the Sunbury road again this time landing on rwy 16. 12. 13.
