The Seawise Giant was the largest ship ever made and the largest movable man made object. It was 1503ft long and a with a draft of 81 ft was incapable of navigating the Suez and Panama Canals as well as the English Channel.

Sank during the Iran-Iraq War and later salvaged.

In 2009 the ship went to the breakers in India.

Very interesting use of the scenery, the fourth one is majestic, with the movement of the waves (I can feel the wind ;D ). Thanks for the info, only new stuff for me! I'm sure it is interesting for a scenery developer to see your shots.

Crikey! Big boat.

Great shots. and

Love ya' water!

As the salesman said : she turns on a dime . ??? ???

Brad

According the the sales brochure, top speed in calm weather is 16.5kts, braking distance at top speed 5.5 miles! and turning circle in good weather a mere 2 miles.

Now that will make a lot of razor blades, great shots of that giant Martyn!!

I think they only expected float planes on the water>

Very nice shots, and thanks for the info ::)

Really thought-provoking - 460m of scrap iron. Impressive information and shots.

Rudder weighed 230 tonnes, the anchor 36 tonnes and propeller 50 tonnes.

Thank you all for your interest and comments.
