G8tr
It has been a while since I have been able to afford looking at getting FTX Global. When Global came out, I thought I saw a separate Global package covering just North America (which is the only area I fly in.) So, am I recalling right or wrong? If so, is it still available? If not, ignore my babbling...
NoLonger
Wrong. It's called GLOBAL and so it covers the entire Globe. Maybe you read something about OpenLC which is the upcoming (not yet released) landclass addon from Orbx: that one comes in 7 packs and one of them will indeed cover the US. You must have mixed those addons up in your memory. But FTXG covers everything!
G8tr
Thanks. I hate it when I'm confident something is true and it isn't. Hasn't happened to me since...breakfast!
chik
@G8tr I think I know what you are trying to ask................maybe. You heard about Global, which cover the whole world with Orbx style ground textures. You also heard about another product which just covers North America....................... To assume I can read your mind , there are other products which cover sections of North America. You can find them here....... http://www.fullterrain.com/index.html There are three basic products which in my opinion you should begin with if this is what you are looking for. Pacific Northwest Northern Rocky Mountains Central Rockies Installing Global will also cover these areas but at this point will not give you the detail which the individual packages will. If you are new to Orbx you may want to try the FREE demo which available here..... http://fullterrain.com/product_demos.html hope this helps
Bruce Hamilton
I suspect he's thinking about openLC, which will eventually have a release for North America.
