VH-KDK Posted September 23, 2013 Share Posted September 23, 2013 Ok, I have never attempted a complete flight in anything larger than a Constellation so I thought it was time to try a freeware 777. Flying from Chitose to Narita with JAL. 1. Arashi Jet lifts off from Sapporo's Chitose International Airport. No payload and 40% fuel. 2. Climbing and heading for a look at Sapporo before heading south. 3. Chitose Airport can be seen with Sikotsu Lake on the right. 4. Over Sapporo with the Toyohiru River. 5. Turning south above Sapporo and the Ishikari River. 6. Lake Toya on Hokkaido Island. 7. Crossing the coast at the town of Tomakomai. 8. 9. Now over the island of Honshu. Iwaki-yama can be seen above the T7. 10. The agricultural and fishing town of Noshiro is below 11. The town of Yurihonjo can just be seen through the haze. 12. Passing Mount Chokai, we are at 20000ft. 13. Arashi jet JA8979 promoting the mega bands latest album "Popcorn." Arashi means storm, which is what they have been taking Japan by since 1999. This is the third JAL aircraft to promote the band. 14. Passing Sanjo with the Shinano River in view. 15. Starting to descend over Tagokura Lake. 16. Nyoho-zan and Chuzenji-ko lake can be seen. 17. The costal plain of the Saitama Prefecture. 18. The town of Tsuchiura sits beside the Tsuchiuara Lake which is part of the Kasuigaura Park. 19. Leaving the Tone River behind, not far to go now. 20. Here goes. White knuckle time. 21. One small bounce and down, very close to the centre line too. 22. More than happy with that landing.
