The aircraft is the Mitsubishi J2M Raiden (Thunderbolt) which was built in limited numbers in WW2. 1. Departing from Asahikawa Airport. 2. Heading north east from Asahikawa. 3. In the Tennyogahara Muskeg area. 4. Over the Daisetsuzan National Park. 5. Asahidake is the prominent high ground. 6. A portrait of the Raiden. 7. Lake Daisetu is on the Ishikari River. 8.
