VH-KDK Posted June 30, 2013 Share Posted June 30, 2013 An early morning flight from Scappoose to Eugene in a Jazz DHC-8-100. 1. Ready for departure from Scappoose Industrial Air Park on rwy 33. 2. The Colombia River glints in the sunrise with Scappoose on the right. 3. Passing Portland-Hillsboro Airport and the suburb of Hillsboro. 4. Over Aloha with Portland just over the hills on the right. 5. Approaching Aurora with it's State Airport. The Pudding River and Highway 5 can be seen. 6. The town of St Louis is on the Willamette River. 7. Approaching Salem, which is the State Capital of Oregon. Prospect hill is just beyond. 8. A close up over the town of Independence. 9. Leaving Corvallis and it's airport behind. 10. Descending towards Eugene. 11. Over The Pacific Highway 99 approaching 16L. Fern Ridge Lake is to the right. 12. 13.
