IW11 Posted November 27, 2008 Share Posted November 27, 2008 Another quick flight of discovery in Au Gold I've already posted plenty of carenado aircraft departing Armidale so this time I'm in flight I'm not sure what this settlement is, it's not on any of my maps. S30 19.29' E151 29.03', about 13nm north west of Armidale. There are numerous hobby farms & small land holdings out that way so maybe that's what this represents, but no towns or villages with a name. Here's one I know is there in real life, Moredun Dams (aka Moredun Ponds). Lots of history with tin mining in years past When we talk about tin mining we couldn't not mention Tingha. The surrounding area had many small tin mines over the years. I'm not too sure is any still operate.
