Are FTX global textures better on performance that the default textures?

Same PC, Same settings, like for like Autogen (and if that means no autogen for comparison so be it)?

That depends on where you fly. Generally our autogen annotation is much denser than default so expect some hit in city and urban areas mainly. Rural and wilderness will perform at max FPS though,

Generally the alpha testers have not reported any FPS issues whatsoever. They seem to be having far too much fun testing though
