brudgeon
According to Microsoft if I video a flight and save it, it can be played back by anyone with the same FSX software. I know it's a tall order but does anyone know if the .fsr file can be converted to another more conventional format such as mpeg or avi for editing and playing in other software or hardware such as a DVD player? Blitzer
If I remember correctly FSX only records the flight data and does not actually record video at all. What you need to do is use something like FRAPS to capture either your flight or playback of a FSX recorded flight. However, you best option is using FsRecorder to record your flights as it also records AI aircraft and allows you to playback your own flights as AI so you can also fly and record multiple aircraft and fly in formations with yourself etc. Personally I use FsRecorder, FRAPS & Sony Vegas for editing.
