alexf
I flew back to Harvey (S43) after months of flying in AU and ENG. Set FTX Central to NA of course and upon landing I found most static planes looking fine, but two or three of them at a different elevation. Anything wrong or anything I can adjust on my end? Heiko Glatthorn
Hello Alex, Those static aircrafts don't belong to Harvey. Looks like another scenery is interfering. Could you please run the scenery validation tool (FTX Central) and check if it fixes the issue ?
alexf
OK. Maybe some are not static as I have tons of AI everywhere, but even then they should not be at a different elevation. Will re-check. Thx.
Graham Eccleston
Those floating aircraft look like AI aircraft and will float like that if the airport files and the APX are set at different altitudes. I'm not at my FSX computer at the moment but there should be an altitude adjustment file for Harvey within your Scenery\World\Scenery folder. If that is disabled or deleted, your AI aircraft will sit at the FSX default altitude which is more than likely different to the Orbx version. alexf
Graham, that sounds like it. A quick check shows there is this file in the folder: ADE_FTX_PNW_S43_elevation_adjustment.BGL
Graham Eccleston
That will be the file. As I said, I'm away from my FSX computer at the moment so I can't recall if that file should be active or inactive with the FTX payware S43 Harvey. In the absence of someone coming in here, perhaps you could try Harvey both with this file active and inactive and see if that sorts your floating aircraft. alexf
It was on. I turned it off and tested. Saw different elevations at different laces up to about 4ft. AI seemed ok. Turned it back on. Not a big deal. Thx.
