hughp Posted February 3, 2013 Share Posted February 3, 2013 This is a beautiful area to explore and Tim Conrads great Shinden is a challenging, very quick aircraft to explore in. Departing Kamloops it looked quite dry and hot for Canada, but Canadas only desert the Osoyoos is not so far from here. Penticton in sight The Shinden is not that willing to slow down but Pentictons runway is a nice comfortable 6000 feet and I was able to get it stopped. This was my first flight with shade installed (default set) and I'm happy with how it looks- way better than default FSX, although after flying here later I think the tones were a little reddish that first time. Barely scratched the surface of NRM/CRM and now I see SAK is getting close. Have to put the GA aircaft away and learn to fly something faster to have much hope of exploring most of it.
