Alex Goff
With NZNI a set of hot air balloon sites has been added. These balloons match their real world counterparts as to when they appear in the sim. For the most part these balloons will fly from 7am - 9am from September through June. Also note that there is a collection of balloons at various airstrips around North Island that appear on a similar, but more erratic schedule. The one main exception is the Balloons over Waikato festival, near Hamilton. This festival is typically held in March or April. In the sim during each day of march you can see a large gathering of balloons from 7am-9am. Be careful not to fly too close though! Alex Goff
Looking great! I see these things every time... look splendid in the morning mist! Alex... will Hamilton airport be getting a little attention with this release? Cheers Every airport in the region has been given a facelift. Eddy or Neil may have more to say on this, but having been to quite a few while working I'd have to say they're all quite well done!
