cvearl
Continuing from this thread http://www.orbxsyste...andpoint-idaho/ This is the return trip from Sandpoint to Calgary. This time I had the presence of mind to turn on my Traxx app on my Blackberry to get the GPS breadtrail of the flight for Google Earth. Here is the return trip route in a Mooney M20J. From Sandpoint Idaho to Calgary/Springbank. Sandpoint Departure runway 19. Left crosswind runway 19 and climbing out onto a left downwind departure. Heading North up the valley to the border. Next two shots... Guess the airport! Cranbrook Flyover. Town and Airport. Find a way over the rocks to Calgary! Getting bumpy. Whoh. Home sweet home. Sectional snips from the trip. Matthew Kane
I guess you couldn't fly direct from Calgary to Sandpoint and had land at Cutbank to go through customs and on the way back you can go direct to Calgary??? Great shots again mate. Cheers

Great shots again mate. Cheers The secret is that Alan has Canpass and CYBW is classified as an airport of entry by NAV CANADA and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency. CBSA officers at this airport currently can handle general aviation aircraft only, with no more than 15 passengers.
Matthew Kane
I must admit that is something I don't consider when flying in the sim. I would just fly from one airport to another over the Canada/USA border and haven't considered the customs.

cvearl
If I have any others worth sharing I will. Thanks for looking and commenting. It was then worth the time to sort them out and post them. Definately will be taking my camera more often on these flights with my friends. Charles.
