cvearl
http://beta.navmonster.com/ I sure hope so. The electronic Trip Kit was fantastic as were the free flight planing tools. Charles.
ryanbatc
Never even heard of them! What was the problem they had prior?

slandreth
I used the site also. It was nice. Very much hated to see they were down. I still do not understand how someone can patent trip planning on line. It seems absurd to me.
cvearl
Never even heard of them! What was the problem they had prior? There were a few really good ones out there... Skyvector, Runwayfinder and NavMonster. NavMonster being one of the more serious ones I think for free services. Thier maping was not as cool as skyvector or Runwayfinder but they linked to Skyvector for charts. But they had the best weather, METAR, TAFS and all that of all the others IMO. Their coolest feature was the elextronic tripkit. It would put the airport charts and apprach plates for your trip into a single PDF based on your customizations. While it is meant for real pilots, when siming it was great as well. Well except when the approach plates don't match the other data in FSX. So. Ok. Not so great anymore. Regardless. Flightprep was shutting many of these sites down citing patent infringement. Skyvector licnesed with them to stay alive. Other were just closing thier doors. http://www.paperlesscockpit.com/2010/12/flightprep-patent/
