gumbypickett
Breaking news Guys. Today marks 1 week since my last alcoholic drink. My daughter advised me that if I don't stop I won't be around to see not only my kids but Grandkids. Pig headed me always new this but hearing it from my daughter gave me that wake up call I needed. And what a week it's been, I had to buy a new monitor $600 down to $400, 2days without a computer๐ฑ and other stuff going on. First 3 days the hardest but now I don't even want it. I just need to focus on the positive. Who would have thought. So my fellow drinkers, I have left the clan. Rodger no more alcohol puns from me.๐ cheers Gumby 2

Even now a cider would be nice but for me to buy a carton would set me back $80. That's money better of in my pocket, rather than my guts. I feel good about doing the right thing and getting a fewย more years under my belt instead.ย Onwards and upwards Rodge. you should be very proud of yourself. cheers Gumby 4

It was a case of now or never. Over 2 decades ago I did the same with the cigs after a few attempts. I decided to go cold turkey then andย I've never looked back. You raise a point of interest. Fosters, I didn't know the stuff was still around, I could never find it. cheers Gumby 2
