Sante Sottile Posted August 3 Posted August 3 2WA1 Diamond Point Airstrip is now released for Microsoft Flight Simulator! Orbx indie developer Andreas Hegi brings one more popular classic from Prepar3D & FSX to Microsoft Flight Simulator! Diamond Point Airstrip (2WA1) is an Airpark type airfield. A residential airpark is a "fly-in community" specifically designed around an airport where the residents own their privately owned airplanes which they park in their hangars, usually attached to the home or integrated into their home. This gives the airfield its unique characteristics. $18.84 AUD Sales tax will be calculated at checkout where applicable. US$12,26 | €11,24 | £9,58 USD, EUR, GBP estimates only Andreas has reproduced the residences with adjoining hangars very authentically with many details based on photos taken on-site. The runway is quite narrow (7m or 24ft), so it’s quite challenging to land. The scenic location on a plateau on the coast is often exposed to unpredictable gusts of wind, which makes landings and take-offs even more difficult. With stunning coastlines, beaches, cliffs, and an offshore island, this place not only makes for a challenging landing but has just about the most delightful GA circuit area ever featured in MSFS. Features: A Prepar3D & FSX classic Reborn for MSFS A successful continuation of the series of VFR airfields in the Pacific Northwest Complete dynamic & emissive night lightning Full PBR UHD texturing Incredibly detailed high-definition rendition Photorealistic HD textures created from actual on-site photos to make the experience as realistic as possible Perfect landing challenges for the VFR fliers It also features the WA45 Olympic Field nearby $18.84 AUD Sales tax will be calculated at checkout where applicable.
