ikbenik Posted June 7 Share Posted June 7 A very well modelled Aerodrome in the UK by Orbx-partner Burning Blue Design is Old Warden(EGTH) and is situated about 70Km north of London. It was initially a private aerodrome for the Shuttleworth family, becomes during WWII a training field for RAF-pilots. It is actual a hub for vintage plane enthousiasts(like me). The place is frequently used for airshows with restored vintage aircrafts. Also a museum containing the Shuttleworth Collection of oldies remembring the original setting of this family friendly aerodrome and also the historic Shuttleworth House that I see more as a castle. I arrive in a DeHavilland Tiger Moth after overflying the area to remain in the vintage atmosphere and made a tour around and discover so many fine modelled items, so I took a lot of shots, hereby a selection: 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
olderndirt Posted June 8 Share Posted June 8 This is a special version of 'Old Warden'. Orbx did a decent one for FSX, not so good later and, of course, this exceptional version is not for X-plane.
