Béal Feirste

The name Belfast derives from the Irish Béal Feirsde, later spelt Béal Feirste. The word béal means "mouth" or "river-mouth" while feirsde/feirste is the genitive singular of fearsaid and refers to a sandbar or tidal fjord across a river's mouth. The name therefore translates literally as "(river) mouth of the sandbar" or "(river) mouth of the ford".

Just trying out my new aeroplane at one of the top airports available for MSFS.

EGAA Belfast International Airport developed by Orbx partner - Pyreegue Dev Co.

Fantastic shots Paul!  There's now so much more to do besides fly in this sim.

Thank you Jack :). It is amazing what you can do and see in a sim nowadays.

Great information to start the post Paul and then followed by some excellent views of the airport.

I like the colours on the Airbus, brings back great memories of one of my favourite schemes from that era.:)

Sasta go bhfuil an t-aistritheoir againn.;)

Many thanks Martyn :). It is nice to be able to find and use so many 'vintage' liveries in the sim. A touch of nostalgia, I guess.
