I am a bit late on the topic but I saw someone wanting you to keep static airlines at ESGG, pleeeaeese dont!! There must be an absolute majority of people who want to see them gone. I have been waiting forever to have a clean airport only with AI when flying offline and other pilots when flying VATSIM. So again please no static aircraft at ESGG.

I highly doubt, that the majority does not like static aircraft. Maybe one can get this Impression, because them who like statics keep quiet as they do not have a reason to complain.

An opportunity to choose between the options of having static AC or not having static AC would be ideal. If this is not possible please keep the statics.

Yes naturally the user option to keep it or not would be best for everyone :) I agree. But just out of curiosity to undetstand your position, why do you want kind of…in lack of better word ”fake” airplanes parked at the airport. What benefit does it add compared to AI traffic that moves and interacts (…not perfect at present I know) but still. Its kind of FPS friendly as well and AIG is a great free option so I really try to underdtand this.

I am using AIG with real-time on-line AI, and this lays less pressure on performance since it spawns less planes. Having some statics is a fine addition to the immersion :)

Slowly inserting our assets in the sim :)

Can warmly recommend this hotel if ever staying at Arlanda over night. Just a minutes walk from the departure hall, great breakfast and nice rooms and a very nice lounge.

The new update looks amazing!
I only wonder if there's really a pushback truck and crew at Frölunda in rea life, I think no :)
Maybe it is possible to remove the ground services?

Haha that's funny.. we removed pushbacks from Bromma as we were informed by airport management they don't do that, seems like our ground equipment ended up at Frölunda instead. We will address that.

Just wanted to say thanks @Marcus Nyberg for the Bromma update! Now it feels perfect, really appreciate the support and adding the interior, it's done to a fantastic standard too!

Sounds great and can't wait to find the time checking out the new update myself. Bromma is only a 15 mins drive from where I live. So always very cool to fly in and out of Bromma and recognize all things down on the ground :)

Guess I'll see for myself when I try it out but has the ICA Maxi building next to the airport been finished now also in the scenery in the same way it has IRL?

Oh, no, sorry, nothing has been added outside the airport so the construction etc is still as in previous version sadly.

Hi Marcus

Thanks for the recent work (Malmo and Bromma). The addition of a config tool for static aircraft, is the solution many were looking for. I look forward to seeing more of your work in your expanding MSFS portfolio. You are bringing great value to Orbx and flightsimulation.

WOW Marcus! ESSA is really coming together in an amazing way. This is your best work to date. Any chance ESGG will get some upgrades to this level of detail as well? Or is the update just to open the new terminal?

Yes! ESGG is getting a similar update to ESMS.

A little teaser coming here! Here are some of the new ground textures for ESGG (last one is the current look of them), same ones we are using for ESSA

Progressing well! Everything is on a bigger scale so it takes a bit further before we can have more comprehensive in-sim previews. I use ESGG as a playground as they share many assets but those ground textures were made for Arlanda if you missed the caption. Hopefully we can show some more in-sim screens from Arlanda soon. And we have been previewing stuff for ESSA a few times the last couple weeks, if you missed that, including from the sim. :)

WOW! That is beyond amazing looking! It will really bring ESGG to life. Thank you! Probably the best ground texture work I have seen in the sim so far. What a treat for Göteborg!

The new ground textures are nothing but marvelous. The old textures were already great but now it looks even better. Only wish MSFS' SDK could make it possible for the Developers to choose between the concrete slab and asphalt textures, and not just applying the default asphalt texture everywhere regardless of the material underneath  - this would really be icing on top of the cake.

Regarding the pushback trucks at Frölunda I now found the same issue happening at the grass strip adjacent next to Visby airport as well.

I was also wondering, since you are currently working on the Landvetter's new terminal, are the observations noted by Swezam back in 2020 being implemented?
Perhaps it may sound like the nitpicking for some but I think those observations were well described and thoroughly researched in the aim to bring the terminal closer to its real life look. I think such a great airport deserves to be as realistic as possible. ;)

And finally, I hope that the converts of Scandinavian Mountains Airport and Kiruna are coming along nicely - it is not that like we could forget about them either. :D

P.S. I noticed that both ESSB and ESSV got the default file named "ModelLib.bgl" that can potentially cause the Sim issues, and is now recommended to be renamed to a unique name. Was it left there by mistake?
