KSUN Elevation Issue Redux

After a reinstall of my OS and P3Dv4 and all add-ons and I had the problem shown in Orbx-1 image.

I found 7 forum pages, the latest from 2020, on this topic but none of the discussions helped me fix it. What did resolve my problem was deactivating the default KSUN airport. This file is APX17160.bgl in scenery\0202\scenery.

I also turned off the following Orbx bgl's:

Scenery\World\scenery\ADE_FTX_CRM_KSUN_elevation_adjustment.BGL.inactive
Orbx\FTX_NA\FTX_NA_CRM05_SCENERY\scenery\ADE_FTX_CRM_KSUN_Friedman_Meml.BGL.inactive
Orbx\FTX_NA\FTX_NA_CRM05_SCENERY\scenery\ADE_FTX_CRM_KSUN_Friedman_Meml_CVX.bgl.inactive
Orbx\FTX_NA\FTX_NA_CRM05_SCENERY\scenery\FTX_CRM_objects_KSUN_PLC.bgl.inactive

Orbx\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_AEC\scenery\AEC_KSUN.bgl.inactive
Orbx\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_APT\scenery\APT_KSUN.bgl.inactive

After doing this and loading the airport at the RWY31 start position the result was grotesque as seen in image Orbx-2. But on slewing upward the runway appeared correctly and I could then lower the aircraft to the runway where it came to rest properly. I saved a flight at the taxiway entrance to KSUN31 and load it if I want to fly out of the airport as seen in Orbx-3. And Orbx-4 shows the aircraft on the repaired runway. All seems good now.

I know you are not supposed to do things this way because you lose default airports.
APX17160.bgl contains 81 (mostly Idaho) default airports as shown in APX17160 Default Airports.txt attached. I think most of them are in Orbx FTX_NA_CRM so you will not lose them by deactivating the defaults. So I have not discovered any downside to doing this. I hope it helps someone.
