British Antartic station Rothera

From Orbx-partner Aerosoft is this remote station on Antartica an unusual but splendid modelled location to explore. For this adventure I use the ski-equiped PC-6 Turbo-Porter. The station is called Rothera coded as EGAR and some small settlements nearby named Fossil Bluff and Sky Blu. Enjoy my unusual journey at the South Pole:

Fantastic shots, tour & scenery. It seems to be a rather hot summer day for the region, as the humans wear only very light clothing. (The locals are better prepared...)

way down under

That is really down under, you say it. Now we are on the same wavelength with the Aussies.

need of beer "warmer"

Unusual, but probably true. Well, even on skiing vacations we tend to keep the beers warm in the fridge (never outside).
