Propeller01 Posted May 8, 2021 Share Posted May 8, 2021 I have previously installed and happily used the Orbx Iceland scenery demo files. For some reason it appears that when I attempt either to fly into BIKF (Keflavik), or start from there, the system crashes. The only change I have made to the system (apart from adding a couple of new aircraft add-ons) is scenery from FS Dream Team. I have tried deleting all FSDT files, but the problem remains. In truth, I have been very busy since my post, so I haven't been able to wrestle with this again since then. In brief response to your comments...I seem unable to get as far as 'options' before the P3D crashes...I can only specify aircraft,airfield location, weather, etc and as soon as I 'enter', the system will simply crash (with crash details as specified above). Interestingly, I seem to be getting a notice on start-up that the system is 'generating new scenery indexes'...then another box appears stating 'Could not find FSDreamTeam Exclude's local scenery directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager\FSDreamTeam\Exclude\SCENERY ~ would you like to unload this area?' If I say 'yes' to this, I then get 'Building new scenery files'...then 'Error creating child window'... never seen this before....I suspect this could be part of the problem..? Nick...yes, I do have FSUIPC installed....do you think there's a problem here...? You may have surmised that I am 'getting on' a bit and am not, repeat not, a wizz on IT...shame because I just love flight simulation after a 50+ year career in aviation.
