Stillwater
I felt it was time to return to the northern side of our disk, so I took a 777 out of FVFA Victoria Falls. No doubt why the airport got this name. Climbing out with the Sambesi river in the background. Hours later, at Luanda/Angola, we reach the Atlantic coast. And some more hours further we make landfall again near Ghana. Preparing for a little stopover and heading downwind over the Abidjan lagoon... ... and into DIAP airport. Beautiful location! Plus a comfortable landing, luckily.

I see you are an experienced Economy Class passenger, Martyn. I was not able to leave the cockpit and had to take whatever they had on the tablet. 7 hours ago, BradB said: A delightful trip Sir . Thank you John. The continent is worth to invest some payware, look at the great location of Abidjan airport! 4 hours ago, lifejogger said: Super shots Gerold, great looking scenery!!!!!!!! Thank you John. I have to admit there is some uniform landscape on this gigantic continent as well, but that´s where airliners are built for!
andiflyit
Nice set Gerold! Your 777 looks well, such aircraft is too complicated for me, Next time I want to fly I have forgotten it all.

Only the simple airliners for me but good luck to those who can fly the study level planes.

The change of plane types is something what real pilots do not have to deal with, but I have created written checklists for me to fight forgetting... 10 hours ago, adambar said: Excellent set of shots Gerold! Thanks for the compliment Martyn. I like the challenge of study levels, from time to time. And then again I am back to discovering the world low & slow. That is how I like simming!
