Britjet Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 I’m running the new Brisbane City scenery pack, and all the ground textures seem odd. The whole city has an overall “concrete” coloring and texture at ground level which is hiding all the roads and streets. Buildings also appear to be part-sunk in some places. Brit
Nick Cooper Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Hello, here is someone with the same complaint.
Nick Cooper Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Do you have the Zinertek Enhanced Airport Graphics product?
Britjet Posted March 5, 2021 Author Posted March 5, 2021 Yes...I’ve removed both the Xinertek Comunity folders and now Brisbane is OK. Thanks very much for narrowing this down for me! Do you have any suggestions how to get both add-ons to play nice, please? Brit.
Nick Cooper Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 That would appear to be the answer for you. Did you read the topic that I linked, or overlook it?
Britjet Posted March 5, 2021 Author Posted March 5, 2021 Yes, I read it thanks - do you have any further hints about what is causing this issue, please? Brit.
Nick Cooper Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 I read this: Quote This issue is now solved. I removed Zinertek Enhanced Airport Graphics from the MSFS Community folder and Orbx Brisbane City Pack is now fullly functional. and deduced that the two must not be compatible.
Britjet Posted March 5, 2021 Author Posted March 5, 2021 1 hour ago, Nick Cooper said: I read this: and deduced that the two must not be compatible. The Zinertek product is pretty universal, and works fine with all my other Orbx city packs. it seems to me that there must be some component of the Brisbane pack that is the overriding issue. As my preference is to keep the Zinertek product, I can hope thus can be fixed with an Orbx update. Thanks for your help in the meantime. Brit
Nick Cooper Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Hello, having no knowledge or experience of the Zinertek product, I wonder if an approach to its developer might help to find an answer?
Britjet Posted March 11, 2021 Author Posted March 11, 2021 I'm pleased to say that Zinertek have fixed the incompatibilty issue with their latest update. Brit
