IFonline
Yesterday I purchased the NZ South Island and Milford Sounds NZMF for FSX Steam Edition. Once I downloaded them I went into the sim to try them out however the scenery was very weird, there was water on mountains and it looked like the scenery had been moved around randomly, the problem is with the NZ South Island, not NZMF. Is there a fix for this? and if I cant get it working can I get a refund?

IFonline
I was going through the tutorial and when looking for the Terrain.cfg I realised that i was missing the FTXCentral folder, apparently its supposed to be under this \Orbx\Scripts\FTXCentral\Work folder. Nick Cooper
Hello, this line in the topic covers that. Quote Note: if you don't have a copy of terrain.cfg in your \Orbx\Scripts\FTXCentral\Work folder please download the one attached to the bottom of this post. Nick Cooper
Hello, this is a tried and tested repair. You might need to uninstall and reinstall NZMF to restore the level, but the faulty textures are the result of the lclookup.bgl file being the wrong version. Here is a demonstration. This is correctly configured. and here, I have deliberately replaced the lclookup.bgl file with the default version and restarted FSX. If you are not sure that you have correctly replaced the lclookup.bgl file, the default file is 30.5 KB and the Orbx version is 48.7 KB. You must have the Orbx version, or your problem will persist. IFonline
Sorry, im not really sure where to find the iclookup.bgl file or what to do with it once I get it.
IFonline
I managed to find the folders, however there's a lot, do I have to pick a specific one and what do I do with them when I find the right one
Nick Cooper
Hello, in the topic that you said you had followed, you will see this line: Quote Please try renaming Scenery\BASE\Scenery\lclookup.bgl to lclookup.bgl .off which points you to which one. You should be looking in your FSX root folder. Then you will see this line: Quote Then run Verify Files for the Orbx Libraries and try again. with this note underneath it: Quote 2. that the term "Orbx Libraries" refers specifically to the Orbx Libraries product, it does not mean Orbx products in general. If you follow those two steps, you will have replaced the default lclookup.bgl file with the Orbx version of the same file.
IFonline
I have tried what you said but when I loaded up flight simulator this happened.
Nick Cooper
Hello, you need now to run Verify files for the Orbx Libraries. That will replace the missing file with the required Orbx version.
