FSX failure to generate scenery Indexes

I have purchased, downloaded and installed a number of products today which include - base scenery, vector, trees, buildings & preciptFX. Unfortunately upon loading up FSX SE for the first time, I am failing to complete setup at 77% where the program stops responding while attempting to Generate scenery file Indexes. 

 

I have restarted my PC which is running Ryzen7, GEForce 2060S and should be more than capable of competing such a task and then running high graphics. 

 

Have I done something wrong or is this a known problem? Any and all help is hugely appreciated!

welcome to the forums.

This is not a known problem, I wonder if your have correctly set the Orbx Central Insertion Point?

It should be set with Airports and Regions just below any other developers' addons that you might have,

or if there are none, at the top of the scenery library.

openLC should be set below Airports and regions and then wait for the blue notification bar to turns green.

Then try again.
