active Missing ortho files after multiple validations and installs of Oregon HD

I moved to a new system and I am having a consistent issue with errors as I load the Oregon HD scenery.  I have "validated files" multiple times and re-installed twice.  One unusual thing is that the number of counted files is larger than expected file count (i.e. X of Y files - X is larger).

 

Plenty of space on the HD installed on.

 

California North and South HD work fine.

and the second is my reply yesterday to a customer showing the exact same issue. I describe in detail the requirements and processes that occur during a download and installation. I am suspecting your issue relates to the location of your Temp folder which is probably on your C drive and that the C drive does not have enough free space. The drive you are wanting to install onto but you do not mention the current free space on either the C drive nor the installation drive. Please provide that info.

Also check if you are having Backup copies made as these too will reside on your C drive unless you relocate them.
