Nick Cooper
Hello, if you have an Orbx Direct account, log in and go to this page. In the meantime, go ahead and ask your question.
QVF70
Hello Nick Thanks for the direction. I'll make sure I use it next time. I was looking at Orbx Central. Anyway, my question is now moot. I have discovered it was the fault of another 3rd party airfield. That being said: If I have Orbx roads overlaying an airfield what is the easiest way to remove or cover over them with L/C or Airfield Cheers Andrew Transaction ID: 5a21dac5c49ee Product: Global BASE Pack Purchased at: 2017-12-01 22:44:45 Transaction ID: 5a21dac5c49ee Product: Global VECTOR Purchased at: 2017-12-01 22:44:
Nick Cooper
Hello, there are really only two reasons why a road would overlay an airport. The first is that there actually is a road there, but in a tunnel. FSX does not understand tunnels, so traffic just moves over what it should be under. The second is that the airport is in the wrong place. EDDM is a perfect example, there are roads around it in the real world but the airport is misplaced, so road traffic can be seen on the taxiways. One can use ADE to exclude the roads but it is difficult to be precise with such excludes.

Nick, have you done this yourself or is there an update available formally? I would give it a go using ADEX, which I think would be successful, however if another is available this would save the time and effort..... Nick Cooper
Hello, I admit that I did try to correct this long ago, but the default airport is not only in the wrong place, it is the wrong size. I suspect that the GES developers had to spend some time putting things right.
