Ken
I've just noticed that the bridge just north of YWOL is missing. How can this be fixed?
Nick Cooper
Hello, I don't see a bridge in FSX or in P3D v4. Possibly it has been missing since 2011
Ken
Thanks Nick, I haven't checked that bridge for quite a while but I don't remember it being that long ago. I'm sure it was there when I first installed YWOL on my new PC earlier this year (Steam Edition). Now I'm wondering why it went missing! Can we get it back? Nick Cooper
Hello, I looked at the product in isolation, with neither Australia product, as Ken does not mention either of them.

Nick Cooper
Hello, I found my Australia SP3 DVD from 2011, installed it, updated to SP4 and indeed there is no bridge. I have added one for you. File attached, place it in ORBX\FTX_AU\FTXAA_YWOL\Scenery, backing up the original first of course. Ken
Thanks so much Nick, I really appreciate your effort. Trying it out now....
Ken
Unfortunately it shows a different bridge than you have in your image. Also it only reaches halfway across the creek.
Ken
Sorry Nick, I just noticed that I have the same bridge as in your image (my eyes are getting bad). From the view in the below screen shot you can see that the bridge is missing a ramp on one side. I don't want you to bother you, so I will learn to live with it. Thanks for your help. Ken
Hi Nick, I opened the ORBX_YWOL_AFX.bgl file in ADE and saw how you added the bridge on that layer. <SceneryObject lat="-34.5467119663954" lon="150.785150974989" alt="0.0M" altitudeIsAgl="TRUE" pitch="0" bank="0" heading="90.0494384765625" imageComplexity="NORMAL"> <LibraryObject name="{bbf02ca5-90fc-4da8-8892-42d0ac74b80d}" scale="1.00" /> </SceneryObject> Maybe I will try and find a nice bridge and attempt to get it to "fit" a little better. When I've tried to do this with the object placement tool, some library bridges end up in the wrong place.
Nick Cooper
Hello, the choice of bridges is limited in default FSX. I think you really want an extrusion bridge, more of a flyover.
