Hi all.  It has been said that clothes make the man. That saying leads us to this week's Meaningless Topic. Have fun.

 

THIS WEEK'S MEANINGLESS TOPIC: If clothes make the man, what do your clothes say about you?

                                                                                                                                                                           (1) A fine gentleman.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                (2) A tasteless fellow.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                (3) A real slob.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                (4) Comfort over style.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                (5) What do you expect from an old guy?

I gotta go with number five. I gave up worrying about clothes when I realized that with all my wrinkles, bulging belly, and bald head the ladies in the bars weren't interested anyway...........

I never forgot that one morning at work. My fellow worker told me: " Karl I'm sure your wife is away" I said:" how on earth did you know?" He said look at your socks. Sure enough two different ones were on my feet. True story. Got a few chuckles outta that one.:D

 

But I'm really lucky. I can wear whatever I want. As long as she who must be obeyed approves.:unsure::D

Well, I wore a uniform for 28 years that I always was proud to put on and I always felt very professional when wearing it. Now, retired, and in Colorado, I am almost always wearing functional, outdoor clothing because I am Jeeping, camping hiking, skiing etc. So, I guess you would say comfortable clothing for me now :)

With winter almost on us, warmth is the word - appearance is secondary.  My short visits into the present world reveal that your face mask is the keystone of your ensemble - some interesting designs out there.

Comfort above all else (at this stage of the game) B).  I'm not trying to impress anyone anymore, and doubt they would be impressed anyway (at this stage of the game)! :lol:  I just wish that there were a better choice of Big and Tall Sweats at Goodwill, (at this stage of the game)! :rolleyes:
