Frank Rütter
Me SSD A with all my Orbx Products run out of space. On another SSD B there is enough memory. So I close my Orbx Central with a right-click on the Icon in the Taskbar. After that I create a new Library on the additional SSD B. Then I move several Products from the Library SSD A to Library SSD B. After starting Orbx Central every looks good. The moved Products shows up with the right path. But!!!! After starting P3D V5 it tooks a very very very long time to start a flight from the GUI. What works wrong? central Frank.txt
Fiddler
I've noticed that SSDs vary quite a bit in terms of read and write access performance. It could be that your SSD B is quite a bit slower than your SSD A. I've noticed up to a 5 fold difference in performance between products using CrystalDiskMark. This can translate to longer load times for scenery.
Frank Rütter
Hi Fiddler, thanks for your hint, but that seems not an issue with performans. I have some errors in my Orbx logfile that reponds with my issue.
Nick Cooper
Hello, it does appear that P3D v5 spends a very long time indexing every file in the Vector product. Try disabling that and see if the loading time becomes shorter.
