teecee
If I make an .fsr (flightsim video) file, and send it to someone, do they see what I see in my sim or what they have in their own system. Just to explain, I add quite a lot of stuff around the mines, and would like to show it to a mate. would it work just to send him the .fsr? Teecee. markwlee
From the number of reads, Terry, I'd say no-one's been able to think of a tactful enough way to say this. I would say theoretically* that an FSX Video, moves an aircraft along the pre-recorded track in the set (from the recording) weather/time conditions. It will do this in their sim with whatever they have - not what you might have. It's not a video recording of what you saw on the screen - use FRAPS for that. *I haven't tried but it's the way it's done in other games. I don't even know if it'll work at all. Maurice_King
The short answer is no but you may get a watchable rendition.. They would not see what you do unless they had the same scenery and Aircraft that you do. what you send is a heap of data telling the sim what it is where it is and where it is going allowing their FSX to fill in the blanks
