Hazza
I recently had to run LM's "delete generated files" tool. Since then I've been unable to get AEC to read ANY of my Addon airports. Prior to this ALL of my airports were listed and adjusted correctly. I have tried using Lorby's Addon Organiser to generate a new scenery.cfg but still my addon airports are missing. As I understand it Orbx Central should be able to read add-on.xml files now though? I am running 4.1.15 and P3D v4.5.1.4.34698
Nick Cooper
Hello, as you deleted all of your configuration files, before Orbx Central can see your other developers' products, you will need to rebuild them.
Hazza
Hi Nick, thanks for your reply! When you say I need to rebuild them can you tell me which ones and how? Obviously, all the add-on.xml files still exist. Are you referring to the scenery.cfg and add-ons.cfg? If so not sure how to rebuild the add-ons.cfg but I can use Lorby's Addon Organiser for scenery.cfg.
Nick Cooper
I think that Orbx Central looks at the add-ons.cfg file and/or possibly the scenery_add-ons.xml file to see what other add-ons are installed.
Hazza
OK, have checked those files against backup copies (from March 2020) I have from ShadowProtect and they are (virtually) the same. When I run AEC it completes within 5 seconds (which seems VERY unusual to me!) but I am not receiving any errors as was happening a few months ago. Interestingly, it appears that none of my Orbx airports are listed in AEC either (and I have a LOT of them YBBN, CZST, AYPY as examples)
Hazza
In a bid to see if I can get some traction on this issue I have attached my files that AEC looks at to generate it's settings. I have only 7 airports listed in NZ (both Enabled and Disabled) and 16 in Australia. add-ons.cfg scenery.cfg scenery_add-ons.xml
Nick Cooper
Hello, there are no products in the add-ons.cfg file that you have attached. If Vector is looking at that, it would explain why it is not doing anything. Is the add-ons.cfg file from the programdata or the appdata folder? There are two. Hazza
That one was from ProgramData. I have attached the one from AppData to this post add-ons.cfg
Hazza
Any further ideas on this? Is there a way to reset Vector (apart from un-instaling)? Can one of the Dev's look into it?

Nick Cooper
Hello, you are in it now. I am not sure when the developers will be joining you, but I have done all that I can.
Hazza
Thanks Nick, I have attached some pictures of Orbx NZQN to illustrate what is happening
Nick Cooper
Hello, that looks like a specific problem with NZQN, which doesn't have a Vector AEC. Try uninstalling and reinstalling it.
Hazza
Yeah Nick, I had already tried that but just tried again (and NZGS as it had the same issue) but no change. I also have multiple airports from other developers with AEC issues e.g. LEMD and LPMA
Nick Cooper
You could try disabling Vector altogether. Can you attach a copy of your scenery.cfg file to your next post please?
