Bill Gradwell Posted June 10, 2020 Share Posted June 10, 2020 Hello Support Installed Vector for v5. The location of the Vector file in the scenery file is correct - just below Africa. Graphic card is 1060 6G family. The expected result is not seen when between 1000 and 10000 feet - clear day - roads and dam/ river edges very blurred. In fact looks better without Vector This flying out of Heathrow Mega Airport and Frankfurt Mega Airport I have the full suite of Orbx scenery files etc. Any suggestions of what to do? John Dow Posted June 10, 2020 Share Posted June 10, 2020 Vector adds extra load on to the sim engine. If your system is at full capacity before adding Vector then it will obviously affect performance. Europe is a very dense area for Vector coding, with all the land features needing to be portrayed. If you find you need the accuracy of Vector you can consider dialling back the scenery detail and autogen radius sliders, reduce the trees and maybe buildings, and untick any features in the Vector control panel you can do without. Like most things in flightsim the more detailed options are aimed at the higher end computers, and lower spec computers (like mine) need to dial back the settings Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
