answered Strange shadow line on water KHQM

In KHQM there is a strange shadow line on the water. I expressed because there is not terrain or object close to match with this shadow.

I have the same lines. Look at my screenshots in the floating buildings post and you can see them. Yes I do have NA Pacific Northwest installed.

Disable terrain reflections. I've noticed this as well and may be a P3D related bug and not Orbx.

Could also be found in KPDX with flightbeams scenery

P3D said that is related to Orbx scenery. Sure disabling terrain reflections help but that is not the root solution.

 

For the moment I only have:

Orbx Global Base Pack.
Buildings HD.
Trees HD.
OpenLC North America.
FSGUN2020.

 

With NA Pacific Northwest installed it still appears according to Dog4Zero.

did they, or did they ask if you had any addon scenery and then to "reach out to the developer"?

 

Here is PNW and KHQM with all shadows and reflections ticked.

 

 

Certainly, if you tick only vegetation reflections, you will see something odd.

 

 

But why would anyone do that?

Water Detail is High.

Reflections only Clouds and Terrain.

Shadows only Clouds and Terrain.

even using only the addons that you list, I cannot replicate this.

Also, I do think that your video is of the freeware Orbx KHQM

and not just "Orbx Global Base Pack, Buildings HD, Trees HD, 

OpenLC North America, FSGUN2020".

However, if I add the freeware airport, I do finally see the same.

 

 

I wonder if you were to install the free PNW demo, that would solve the problem for you?

Fist Test Just KHQM------> The shadow line in the water is appreciate.

Second Test KHQM + NA Pacific Northwest Demo-----> The shadow line in the water is appreciate.

I would not advise you to buy the full version if it did not.
