Island hopping

Recommended Posts

After adapting to p3dv5 (a very late follower...) I took one of my favourite airliners for a test: Aegean Airlines brand new 777 out of Larnaca.

Cyprus the way that is might be seen regularly by @mikee .

And the island in its entire size. Always confusing to me that it is split in 2 parts by a UN-guarded border.

... always good to know the runway is slightly elevated on a rock platform.

Beautiful images  Gerold and I like your 777, more beautiful scenery too.

Sadly ,Cyprus is another unholy mess that probably will never be solved in our lifetime.

No Raki for me as we have found a great little bar that serves Watney's Red Barrel and cheese and onion crisps!:(

A throw back to the Monty Python days and showing my age.

My grandparents pub sold the brew back in the very  late 50s and I can remember the wooden barrels that the beer came in

Really stunning shots!

Glad that V5 works for you.

Thank you Ebo! And I notice I made a small, but dramatic typo: I am on v4.5, not on v5! If this is only a "yet" or if i stay with 4.5 will be depending on the reports here...

I prefer the salt and vinegar versions... and yes, beer is usually more delightful than the cretan Raki (I hope no Cretan reads this?). The big point is the hospitality of the greek taverna owners, they are so inviting, friendly, just great. I want to return...

I do not completely understand the details of this gourmet talk, but I like the spirit!

In V5 all screen up most better .

Any update brings us the same dilemma: Better functions / optics, but do all our beloved add-ons work? Take your time...

Impressive Shots Gerold !! I like them all … :)

Thanks for posting shots from HOT ( 43 C ) Cyprus B)

B-777 Aegean … ha ha ha They wish !!!

Thank you Mikee ... for your hospitality!

It was great staing with you, as long as your air condition worked and the pool was cold.

Investments are dreams for any airline nowadays... so the Aegean 777 is not more away than the Concorde for Lufthansa :banghead:...

Yes, I spent 5 minutes wondering if you really upgraded to P3D v5 and why the clouds don't look like they advertised them.

Very nice pictures and a very nice plane, of course.
